Jason0627 just made my night, LMAO.
I agree that life will not end, and patience is wonderful. HOWEVER.
The server has been terrible for a LONG time now, 90% of people I talk to have regular serious issues...chat failures, changing zones, mail/FR lag, overall lag. The only people who don't seem to have issues are those that just log on to troll global.
People have been complaining about server performance long before the LATEST crash. It is a known issue. But more attention has been given to the test server than to the main game server.
How patient can one remain, or should one remain, when the culminating crash and resulting rollback could have been prevented by implementing fixes to issues that have been apparent and communicated for months. This shows complete apathy toward player satisfaction.
I game in my spare time, that's what I like to do. It's important for my entertainment to be functional, rather than operating like satellite tv in a constant electromagnetic storm.
While I respect and admire the patience some of you seem to have, I also respect and understand the frustration of those looking for alternatives. Not sure which category I fall into yet, but know I have my doubts about keeping this as a major gaming interest, until and unless the company starts taking a more serious interest in making it enjoyable playable (aka stable) on a regular basis.
