Nah, Blizzard usually gets things back up and running within 24 hours when they have a real issue.....
Now, Sony/Verant (Ahem, Everquest) had many, many, many issues like this, and of course, very similar reactions from the customers :P

I agree i have also put countless hours into this game and also around 300 dollars. granted i feel like they were hacked due to the large scale problem and the fact of a rollback. But i disagree how they approached it, they lied to us and should have just plain and simple said we got hacked and we are working to resolve the problem. not some people are having log in problems and now we need a rollback. This is most unfortuante but i agree that i will seriously contiplate quitting if they dont compensate. even if they do i swear if this rollback is more that a week im just walking away.
I'd be disappointed if its more than a week yes, but I won't quit the game because of an issue that was out of their control. I'm sure they are working hard to fix everything, despite a lot of people's opinion that they're sitting on their asses.
Agree Lacuna, I very much doubt any sitting around is occurring, much consideration goes into a rollback in any case.
