How are they going to recoup me? I earned and spent 5k granite on upgrades, ran Black Knights, 2 nords and several other adv's and im about to hit level 46, 100k xp is about what i earned in the last 5 days... How can they possibly recoup that??? If they were gonna rollback why didn't they do it right away? You can't rollback a whole week thats crazy. I think this is it for me guys and gals pce

Why worry about it until we know what's going to happen? Wouldn't a rollback mean you get all your resources, gems, and adventure maps that you had at that moment in time?

No a rollback means everything you did since Sunday morning (xp earned, resources traded for, advs found or bought) is gone like it never happened. It's very bad for us extremely active players. In a game like this it totally kills your spirit. idk about you but the last week for me was a very prosperous one and i don't wanna do it all over again. You see they can rollback the game but they can't rollback time. If they can give the 50+ hours of life spent playing since this happened then im cool but i dont think they have the God-like power to do that

What if they start to "Roll Back" every 2-3 month??? One year from now we will be at the same Lv....Playing for nothing (even if is free, spending our time is our payment; and they take away my "payment" without delivering). Made about 150k XP in last week (going to Lv. 48)...Spent about 6-7 hours every day...Playing high XP adventures almost every day (2 VtV or 2BK) in a row....

roll back only mean they will roll back when the problem occur.
it mean they will roll back when no one was able to get back on so you will not lose a thing.
many players need to manage there buffs especially if they have a gold chain a roll back will help to prevent losses they would other wise occur when they couldn't get on.
there were only like 10% of the players who could not log in. a roll back screws 90% to help the 10% there has to be another way to fix it for the 10% so the 90% dont get rammed hard....in the...well you know

I think your missing the point of this rollback. I'm sure it's not being done solely for the purpose of being fair for the 10% as you say (although I'd argue it to be much more). But more to the point I think this rollback is because they have no clue how to fix the bugs in the system. And they just can't ignore the folks (like me) that can't log in no matter how much people have played this week. As I suggested in a previous post (from Tuesday I think) they should have done the rollback then. I'm guessing they had no idea how messed up the data was.
Additionally, A few words to the folks that were able to play all week yet complain about losing gems or adventures or resources or time.
Now folks, we should use common sense here. Buying gems during a time when a vast number of players couldn't log in was ill advised. But this is easy to fix. They will know when you bought gems and how far back the rollback goes. Retroactive gems no problem here....
Losing resources from upgrading? Not really. You use 5k granite and 5k gold, it will be there. Sux if you started a lev 5 upgrade. Those 1-5 days would be a pain. But if you started it after Monday you shouldn't get too upset. Shaky server performance is not the time to upgrade to a 5.
Loot. Yeah this is where you lose of course. Really sux no doubt. But I'm sure EVERYONE hit granite on every adventure this week right? However those folks that went 5 for 5 on *** ore and saltpeter can't be too mad though.
Time. Yeah this one would upset me the most if I were able to log in all week. Can't blame you there. Have to be honest though.... I did enjoy the time away from the game this week. Got another hour of sleep everyday!
Anyhow, let's hope the rollback does more than just allow the folks that couldn't log in to get back online. I would hate to see the ramifications a second downtime like this would have on the community. Here is to hoping they figure out what caused this mess in the first place....
all good points but there must be something else they can do to fix this besides bone everyone out of 1 to 30 days of play time who knows how far back these problems started and if it was that far back i would have lost **** near 150k gc in upgrades and prolly 10-15k in granite. a roll back should be the last resort for a real time game
