I provide a similiar type of service where the systems are critical to the business. Not gaming but access solutions into the stock market. There are service agreements in place for a same day 24hr onsite service. We've also got duplicated hardware at another facility in case of hardware or facility failures. They don't need something that much but a second server in case a motherboard does go. They haven't planned for the worse and it's hit them square in the face. They will lose customers over this and I'm sure of that. Giving a 100 gems and a few nic naks as a "We're sorry for the inconvenience" won't be enough in alot of peoples eyes.
But after a week or so it'll get back to normal and the outage will be forgotten about.
