    well here is how i see it...


    so we were given the excuse of some people were having log in issues....

    Hello, everyone. We are very sorry to spring this on you, but the Zeus server is going to be taken down for maintenance due to the log-in problems some users are experiencing.

    Unfortunately there is no time table for when the server will come back online, but I will be updating this thread as I receive more information. We truly apologize for the inconvenience and please know that we will be taking this downtime into consideration.
    ok so you are telling me that you had to do an emergency sever shut down with 10 minutes of warning to do this?.... this is a problem you should have been well aware of...

    Also if this is the problem then why are you saying you are not exactly sure what the issue is.... this sounds bogus to me... why would you need to shut down the server to find some programing issues relating to log in... it seems to me (non programmer) that you know that there is an issue you can review the code have a plan then shut down if necessary. do a system wide update and bam there you go... that is not what is going on here...

    there is a problem i doubt it has anything to do with a few people not being able to log in... more than likley someone or a few have hacked the game or done something to completely screw up the economy (no not ghosting more than that)...

    so to me what they are trying to do is probably find out how someone messed up there game... how far back it went... and what they are going to do...

    if it was as simple as hey we have a code issue with log in then they would more than likly try to find the solution and impliment at off hours vs. and abrupt system shut down.

    just what i think

    I understand your frustrations, and I really do empathize; that said, there is literally nothing I can tell you that I have not told you already. The minute I have new information, I am sharing it with you guys here.

    It's not an ideal situation, and I apologize on behalf of everyone working to fix it, but there just isn't any new information or timeline.

    I think the biggest problem here is that Ubisoft has no plan on how to reimburse players for gems bought. Lets say i bought 20 dollars last week and the game gets rolled back to 2 weeks ago. The gem sale never took place but my money is still gone. good luck on this one BB.

    Meesherbeans --- let me ask you this --- obviously you are not the only one comnunicating for the company --- but explain to them if you can that even an hourly update would ease peoples concerns

    Absolutely correct... Its like i tell my wife and kids, if your gonna be late just pick up the phone and call, this way i dont have idle time to sit and sit and think of everything that could go wrong..
