This is a horrible idea. period. Will destroy loot spots and bulk trading.

Bulk trading isn't killed -- the new trade system eliminates the "stack"

The auctions are the element of this game that I really enjoy. That and helping out new players with free resources such as stone and pine wood planks that I don't really use anymore. I'm not going to add everyone that will ever auction an item/wants to bid on my auction items. So effectively you have killed the auctions and the global-1 who wants to buy/selling messages. That pretty much takes the community global market aspect out of this game, and that is why I play it. All in the name of protecting new players from getting scammed? I think more new players receive help than get scammed. This is going to hurt new players wanting quick help and effectively kill the auctions. Oh well maybe I'll have to find something else to do.

Agreed I certainly won't be spending any more money to play this game if this rule is not reversed, QUICKLY. No point in paying for not being able to play. Agree with someone else. Gives me more time to go do things outside and not play a game that will be dead in the near future.

Bad execution of a well intentioned idea. If this is going to be implemented, how about adding some sort of in-game, auction registry. Anyone that adds their game name can trade with anyone else that does the same. You could have any appropriate, pop up warnings, cautioning about being aware of malicious trades, etc., when one went to add their name. Like so many have said, a new player cannot trade until level 17, and should know the game by then.

will we really need auctions anymore?

we can sell gem items in new trade no more trying to find someone to buy put it up on trade and they will look for it.

adventures can now be sold in trade.

what sucks is LS and Baskets...

if you want to do a trade with someone you put it up in the trade window....

go to global 1 say i need to buy 20k coal...willing to pay 250 gc... whisper me...

dude whispers says hey i put the trade up in trade window...

you go and accept deal is done...

not the end of the world..

I am not saying that i like the idea... i am just saying there are ways around it and it is not the end of the world.... LS and baskets really sucks though

What new players? All the new players are shunted over to Ares at this point.

jason 1 prob w tht idea: u post it in the new trade system, any1 can click it then, and it auto-accepts. so the person tht ur whisperng might not be the person who gets the trade. direct trade between players is still needed, and we should not have to wait 24hrs to do so just because BB thinks new players who's intelligence falls short need to be protected
