So you can now sell massive amounts of things through the trade system... instead of insane amounts to certain people.. This will be a much better system. Profiting off of these friendly buffs is something that should be done away with (Although, can't you agree on the price with someone, post it as a trade like my 1 fish for 386 of their gold coins, have them accept it, and head over to buff them anyway??). Profiting off of LS's though, can't you add them as a friend, put up a trade, have them take the trade and then invite them right away? Again... What are people going crazy about?. You can still post something in the trade, have someone accept it and gift the item over... Don't see what the big deal is over all this. All in all it might add half a step to get the same things done... but when you look at it, you only have to do a single trade..

Am I missing a huge chunk of this? Or does everyone realize this only affects "Trade directly by friend", where the exact same thing can be accomplished using "Trade by market" in a faster amount of time? I don't even...

I think that is a fair point mesto the whole sort of trade for 1 fish i think should help alleviate the issue for buffs and possibly loot spots. There does not seem to be a rule saying you cant invite someone to a loot spot if you have been friends for less than 24 hours right. However there would be no need for this if they did not have this 24 hour rule. This also means you cant have any other trades going on while doing this. And from what i remember in the trade preview on test server the thing constantly bounced around. For instance if you sorted by what you were buying the times it lasted would be different and they would be disappearing and the list would reorder again. I hope that is fixed or using it will be a real annoyance.

    2) Gem items... - Post a trade for one of your fish for the agreed payment. Once trade is accepted, gift the item.
    3) Buffs... - Have the buff seller post a trade for one of their fishes for the buyers gold before/during/after buffing.
    4) Auctions... - For the most part, auctions will probably be limited in what is useful to run, but can obviously still happen. Auctions
for bulk items will probably lose their usefulness, but that's probably for the best anyway. It's one of the reasons that many items
aren't profitable to make on your island with artificially low prices carrying over into the marketplace form the auctions. It will still be
an awesome place to do business for things like resource depos and gem items.

Simple solutions are easy to see when your eyes aren't filled with tears.
Oh! I think I can hear the waambulances coming down the street now... Have a fun ride.

P.S. If you decide to rage quit over this, I can 'store' plenty of your goodies, as can my fellow chillers. Just let us know...

    Edit:
    5) Loot Spots... - Post a trade for one of your fish for the agreed payment. Invite the guest to your adventure.

1-2-3-5) Having lot of trades like '1 fish for 400 hwp' will just bring lot of errors for people clicking fast etc. There's a post somewhere with list of people actually doing this and from my point of view that's 'trying to steal'...

    2) Will we be able to gift a player within that 24 hours cool down period?

    3) Will we ba able to visit and buff a player within this 24 hours period?

    4) Auctions are fun, auction global-2 is like a second community, like a bigger guild. If some ressources aren't profitable... so how people lives from those? Maybe the solution would be to review some production time? building costs? certainly not limiting trades c'mon!

    5) So you can invite a new friend to an adventure... let's say this LS worth only 450gc (SFTR) ... but you can't trade 10 stacks of bread for 100gc? totally make sense!

    ---

Resume: your solution isn't a solution!

Do your Ubisoft developers even play the game or do they just make decisions on their majic 8 ball? How can a company come up with something the buyers dont want? And then after many many complaints still implement it..?

According to this article on the new trading, if & when it is implimented here...

They are KILLING the auctions completely!. Good job devs

Now any LS are friends only or you wait for your FF 24 hours. Nice job devs

I don't want to friend EVERYONE in this game just to be able to trade easier!!!! I give things away each & every day, you really think I'd like to wait 24 hours to help a new player out? Good job devs!

I'm done with my complaint, but thank you very much for killing the auctions. Once again good job devs!

I think you've misinterpreted this information.

What it basically means is, you cannot trade someone for 24 hrs after friending them.

    • Players need to be listed as friends for at least 24 hours before you
    can trade via friend list.

This does not mean the trade tab would be affected, it only applies to the friends list itself.

So, if you post an offer or want to accept and offer, you still won't need to have that player in your friends list.

It kills me sending new players resources. It kills me giving things away daily. It kills auctions completely. Look a friend of a friend of a friend needs this. Can you give it to me so I can give to them so they can give to him. or wait 24 hours & then they can get it direct.

The new trade system is GREAT! The rules behind the new trade system blows.

I have a BK LS Fast finish, oh wait you cant buy it for 24 hours because you're not my friend. But it needs done in 2 minutes... Too bad find someone else.

I will not agree i think this rule makes for issues but there are work arounds. There should be no need for workarounds but there are some

Lets say i auction/sell on global a loot spot and it sells for 1000gcs.

So i put on trade tab i will give you 1 fish and you give me 1000 gcs. If you are not the person i did the deal with thanks for taking a bad deal. If you are i get my payment and i send you the invite and we go along our merry way. Sure if the person is my friend there is no need to go through the trade tab but it is a work around. A pain? yep it is but it still allows us to sell things like loot spots that need immediate attention.

Can you place that LS in the trade tab also? Are you allowed to send that invite to the player? Or do you still wait the 24 hours to receive the invite too?
