Angry This trade system went live? Really???

    Cummon guys!

You pushed this trade system live in this condition???

After EVERY purchase, you lose your place in the list
and have to start looking for offers all over again.

Sorting for Offer or Cost screws up after using it once or twice.
And half the time you can't Refresh to try to fix it.
Stuff even comes up that I have filtered off.

I have to page through SIXTEEN pages of offers? Really???
And EACH new page loses your sort order?
And when you hit sort (on any page) you're thrown back to page ONE and have to start over again???

Did you guys even test this thing???

You can't even get off page ONE to find what you're looking for without everything screwing up!!!

    WOW!

that's why there's a search function... so there are less pages.

I should point out though that you can sort it properly and keep the sort if you click on the columns a few times... both on cost and offer... it fixes itself so you can flip through pages without losing the sort.

I do agree on the bugs being annoying and of course the fact it flips back to page 1 after you accept an offer, that's also annoying.

Overall the new system is much better than the old one. Once the bugs have been ironed out I'm sure everyone will enjoy it much more than the old system.

Except that's what the test server was supposed to do. And the point of this thread is that BB went live with THIS version of the functionality.

I agree with Royalpayne... the old system was better. Why? Becasue it was SIMPLE. Nobody ever said... "What a good idea, its so complicated."

This system is way better. Im selling 4K lots of fish for 40 GC and they get snapped up within one minute.. couldnt ask for better.. not only do I get a wider audience than my guild and the lacklustre auction screen but EVERYONE.

Not to mention the fact I dont have to bother making 10 trades.. and dont even get me started on how transferring 15K water felt like on the old system.

There are some bugs yes , but as mentioned these can be self-fixed if you use it right. Yes its more complicated , requiring *gasp* learning. If your not special needs you should grasp it easily within 10 minutes.

Some people bitched an moaned. Yeah , I was one of them voicing concerns about everyones negative comments , and I was a little daunted when first faced with the interface , but after a couple minutes , that went away.

As more people use it and more trades become available , things will get much better.

Make an effort and you can realize the benefits.

This is buggy and needs fixes, but is still better, in many ways, then the old system - but it certainly needs an overhaul still.

applause @ bystander. my attitude exactly, especially this 1 lil bit 'Yes its more complicated , requiring *gasp* learning. If your not special needs you should grasp it easily within 10 minutes.

unfortunately the ability to learn seems to have become rather rare. i still cant believe the problems some are having converting per 400 prices to per 1k prices

You guys have no life, thats why you love the old system. Sitting there all day long sending 400 each trade, and each trade have to click like 11 times.. Yea!

Help them make it better, stop showing off that you know how to use a marco, thats nothing..
