    Trade system: posible improvements

Im going to just put this down as a wish-list. Feel free to contribute.

    1. Sorting should work over multiple pages. Even if I sort for one item, you often get two/three pages of trades. Sorting is useful, because im looking to either buy or sell stuff. If i go to page two, its not sorted anymore. Click sort on page two, and you end up back on page one. That means I have to look through multiple very unorganized pages to find all deals. That's not very useful for comparison.

    2. Sort by quantity. 2 bread is not more then 10.000 bread. Again, this would make the trades much more organized and easier to compare.

I have to say that I'm not terribly impressed with it, either. Somehow, this new system seems to have given some players the idea that asking ridiculous amounts of goods or resources for practically nothing in return is what the new system is about. I have cut back seriously on the amount of trading I do since this new system was implemented. I miss it, but I'm not giving up the amounts of goods for next to nothing in return. Kind of reminds me of these new guild quests....

I love being able to do huge trades. Offloadin 40k water a day in lots of 400 was incredibly painful.

Few tweaks needed yes, but overall fantastic. Plus I can put up an auction and let it run and sell overnight.

One thing I would LOVE to see. Multiple permanent transaction fields purchasable.
Great men are not born, they are made. Through blood, sweat, tears, trials and tribulations. Tests through both their victories and their defeats. They are shaped through their experiences. Portrayed by their moralities and judgements, be they for better or worse. They do what others wont to achieve what others cant. It is their dedication, commitment and ultimate success of their goals that separates a man from a great man.

I'm with Thewhitewalker - I trade a LOT more under the new system. No one forces you to buy the crappy deals people offer, (which existed before). But on the other hand, I find a lot of deals that are decent, (just like before). Many offers have a reasonable factor for the discounts you typically find when you're dealing with tens of thousands of units. Under the old system, I could painstakingly sell stacks of bread at 10 coins. Under the new system, I can still sell those stacks, at that cost, and even better, I can sell 4 of them while I'm offline. But I can also sell 4000 bread for 95 gold, in lots of 4, again while offline. Or 8000 bread for 180 gold.

The sorting/resetting issues need to be fixed, and once I've sorted by a resource, the quantities should be in some type of order - preferably user-defined.

Also agreed that I'd like to be able to purchase additional permanent slots. And once I've sold a lot or two from my free slot, I should be able to add more lots to it without having to cancel the trade & re-enter it. But I'll take incremental improvements.

If you want to sort past more than one page of an item you're specifically looking at, his Offer, Cost, Offer. That *should* sort beyond Page 1.

I don't know if that works for all 17 pages if you've got nothing selected like say, Coal or Fish.

I think there should be something on the selling tab that will give an approximate selling price in coins, since it seems a lot of trading is done with them.

I think you should be able to see price per unit, also. Perhaps, hover your cursor over the price/quantity and it would pop up price per unit. However, I believe the most important thing that needs to be fixed is the "sorting" through the pages. Example, smallest-largest amount, or smallest-largest price Anything....any type of sorting processing would make it much more easier and also make much faster trades. For the most part, i like the new trade system. I like the fact you can buy 10k of something instead of "stacks." Hopefully, the greedy people will lower their prices when they realize no one will pay their ridiculous prices. Except for those few who are mathematically challenged. Those people you can blame if the prices stay as is. Also, what's up with paying 3gc to place a second auction? they advertised "new trade with multiple trades!" Yeah, if ya pay for it. If a few things were fixed it would be the awesomest trade system.
