    Resource Bottle-neck

I've reached Level 23 and I find myself in a resource bottle-neck. It seems like I'm always spending just about all of my resources replacing collapsed mines and exhausted fields and never have enough to do upgrades. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have building licenses left, or have you used them all? If you still have building licenses, I would suggest forgetting about upgrades for now and focus on expanding your production of the materials you need most. You may even want to take out some buildings that aren't so necessary to you yet - it's better to produce lots of what you need now than to produce a little bit of everything.

Are you in a guild? If so, you can have some guildmates visit your island and give you advice on things you might change. If not, maybe see if there are any experienced players in help chat who might be willing to take a look.

Use the Economy Overview to see where the problem lies. Can you shift production? Work on getting Your island sectors cleared and get the BLs you need. Consider a guild where you can get help. See below for info on my guild.
If something can go wrong, it will.
