    see then why am i getting run around? they told me to go contact them, no luck there, got ahold of settlers support again and they said its on playspan not them, just tired of the crap that i have to go through just to get my money's worth from what i paid

    If you paid by credit card you may be protected, I don't know what the law is where you are but I know mine protects me against this sort of non service. If I don;t receive the service I paid for then I am able to get a refund if all attempts to get the goods/service or a refund have failed.
    I am assuming you tried this link for their customer service & if they are not replying or are refusing to sort it out then try contacting the organisation you used to pay for it. This sort of problem is why I pay for everything using my credit card.

    I would like to quickly point out that we have investigated this matter, and would like to publicly state that this did in fact occur, but was in fact an error. The support representative in this case was acting independently and management was not aware of this taking place.

    The account issue was with Playspan/Ultimate Game Card, not Ubisoft/Blue Byte, and the final decision or support answer should have come from them. You can find their Terms and Conditions here, which clearly states that any purchases are turned into their currency. Any concerns or account issues with their currency needs to be directed to their support, not ours.

    I know it can be frustrating, and I do apologize for any confusion in this matter.

    ok meeshabeans but if that site is down or we cannot access it i do believe it should fall on the settlers support staff to give us what we paid for, wich is btw a virtual object that can be generated by the push of a button, so wtf is the deal here? realize its not your fault or job to begin with but after so much run around there should be compensation at the end, weather it be from either side of the equation id like to see someones customer support handle this properly and if not at least remove it as payment option, not just i have had this happen, and whoever did give lady starfire her gems was doing what everyone knows is right and giving the person what they paid for

    You paid for UltimatePoints, and you received UltimatePoints. If you are unable to access them, I know that is very frustrating, but it's not something we can resolve. I'm sorry.

    if your in partner with them so folks can pay for your services, i think you should be able to, has to be some way, if not thats a very poor business plan on your end

    bluebyte has no fault here. you chose to purchase an item from a separate company, according to *their terms of service. if the points are missing, its up to that company you made the purchase from to make it right. blue byte has no control over how another company does their business. they offer this payment method as a convenience to customers. you didnt have to use it. as said in another thread, i had no trouble using an ultimate card.

    Royalpayne, another thing you might want to try is to take the card back to where you bought it and complain that it is not working right. If you do so, i would take not only your original receipt with you but also the receipt from the game showing your purchase(s) just in case you need it. The bottom line for everyone here is,you are safer purchasing with a bank card because most banks today will refuse charges or refund you if you dispute the charges. Two reason to NOT buy Ultimate Game Card include:

    1. They do not reimburse players when THEY screw up and your points fail to show up on this site; they don't even respond.

    2. you may be stuck with useless leftover points if THIS game ever goes COMPLETELY bellyup or closes down or you cannot access it any longer (like me)
    unlesss there is another PlaySpan game out there which you enjoy and can use the leftover points on.

    I am grateful to Ubisoft employees for reimbursing me my points and as a result i WOULD have been purchasing many more by now IF i could even get on the game...

    Ok so final update. I got BBB involved and things finally worked their way together. Playspan got my account working right on Settlers so I could use my points BUT they deleted my account from their ultimatepay site (I have no idea, maybe it was due to it messing up so bad). So I have all my gems now. Blue Byte has been very helpful and even apologized for the inconvenience even though this was non of their fault.
