Can't attack bandits in sector 3 w/o intercept from sector 6

My grandson has been trying to get the last 2 bandits out of the way before One-eyed Bert. Every time he sends troops, hard bandits in the fogged area in sector 6 keep intercepting his general.

What's going on here and how do you get around it?

Unfortunately, with the pathing changes from July, it is not possible to to get to One-Eyed bert without first taking out that Hard Camp in the other sector. If he hadn't taken out the 5 Scavenger camp already you could have used that to intercept you and then take out one of the other bandit camps, but it sounds like he has already taken that one out.

Focus on the Intercepting Hard Camp first, then he can finish Sector 3

perhaps try attacking a camp further into s3, theres a chance that path will change enough so that you'll get intercepted by the camp you're trying to kill

the new pathing makes it impossible to get by the aggro of that camp in s6.
this has been known to be the case since they did the repathing; they have not changed it.
i suspect it works the way they want it to.
