geologist timer resetting

Lately (meaning about a week or two now), I will send my geologist out to find something and while I log out and then come back into the game his timer resets.

Case in point. Earlier today I sent my geologist out to find coal. I eventually logged out when he had about 25 minutes left to find coal, but when I logged back in he had 3 hours and 45 minutes left to find coal.

This happened to me a lot with the pumpkin patches but I heard that was a bug that wasn't fixed yet, but I've never had this problem with my geologist before!

Last 2 days I've had the same problem. It only happens if I log out and then come back later. First one was regular geo after 4 hour gold, today it was Jolly after 2 hour coal.

Its annoying. I send out the geos for the longer searches during the day when I know I'll be offline for awhile so I'll have them available for short runs when I come back.

If this continues I guess I'll just have to leave game up and running if I have geos out searching :>(

Same problem. Geologist cannot be trusted. When I log off and leave him searching for a deposit and log back on the timer has been reset or something.

It was gone but now its back..... this time 3 regular geos with under 2 hours left in a 4 hour coal/gold search (I believe the gold one was closer to 1 hour or less). Logged off for roughly 2.5 hours. Came back, wondered why the mines had not been found. Checked geos and had just under 2 hours left on timer for all 3 geos, but all 3 had not been sent out at the same time and all should have finished before I got back.

Will admit though, it was funny watching all 3 geos finish their search at exactly the same moment. :>)

It happened to me again...only this time I didn't log out, I was in an adventure.

My geologist was off finding some coal for me. I went into my adventure to finish it off, the geo had about 5 minutes left, and when I came back out after finishing off the adventure my geo had 3 hours and 52 minutes left to find coal.

I've had the same problem, only with savage scouts. I send them on medium treasure hunts, and when I come back 6 hrs later, it still shows I have 3 hrs left. When they finally do arrive, the all show up at the same time. Something is definitely not right. This problem only occurs on Zues, which doesn't surprise me given how many problems Zeus keeps having. I would suggest sending in tickets to support on this matter. I did.

This is getting ridiculous. It happened again this morning. I sent the savage scouts out on medium treasure hunts at 10:30 pm and then logged off. When I logged back on 4:15 am instead of having 15 minutes to wait, they returned at 5 am, 30 minutes later and this time Ares was affected the same way. When they returned, they all showed up at once. I keep sending tickets and not getting any responses. Getting old real fast!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Development team is aware of the issue and is working on a resolution to solve the issue. Thank you for letting us know that the issue is still occurring.

I apologize as this is a common bug with no current fix to the solution.

Somehow though I think they have bigger problems to worry about with both Zeus and Aries servers going down like 6 hours early!
