Twas the night before christmas and through Settlers House
Not a creature was stirring except for Sillychic chasing a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimneys with care
In hopes BB_meesherbeans would give out free gems this year.
Sir Taint was nestled all snug in his bed
While visons of Bluestangebabe danced in his head.
And Llmonie in her kerchief and Twittle in his cap
Had just settled down for a long winters nap.
When out on the mines arose such a clatter
AlphaSmitey jumped out of bed to see what's the matter
Away to the window he flew like a flash
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of new-fallen snow
Gave the luster of mid-day to the objects below.
When what to the wonder of Larrrrs should appear
But a minature sleigh and eight tiney reindeer.
With a little old driver so lively and quick
Larrrrs knew in a moment it must be BB_meesherbeans Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came
And he wistled and shouted and call them by name.
Now MissPeaches, now Hafsen, now Surrender and Mr-Miner
On Vento, On Zamman, on and Daitheon and Joliver.
To the top of each Residence and Nobles too
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all.
As dry leaves that before the wild hurrican fly
When they met with an obsticle mount to nthe sky.
So up to the house-top they flew
With a sleigh full of gems and BB_meesherbeans too.
And them in a twinkling, Haak heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As Haak drew his had and was turning around
Down the chimney BB_meesherbeans came with a bound.
He was dressed all in furs from his head to his foot
And his clotes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of gems he flung on his back
And he looked like a gold miner opening his sack.
His eyes - how they twinkled, his dimples how merry
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
Hid droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow
And the beard on his chin was as white as snow.
He was chubby and plump a right jolly old elf
And SillyGirl laughed out loud inspite of herself.
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
Soon gave her to know she have nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work
And filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk.
And laying a finger aside of his nose
And giving a nod up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh to his team gave a whistle
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight
"Happy Christmas to all, and To all Settlers a goodnight"
