Life in our village started harsh. With tiny houses, some scattered production buildings, a constant lack of resources and the worries to make it to the next day.
Then all of a sudden we had LOTS of neighbors. They visited us, left arms full of gifts, helped us increasing our production, fill gaps when there is need of something.......... simply amazing !!! And they still come, every day and look after our wellbeing.
We are very thankful to our neighbors and friends for all their support within our guild.
THANK YOU !!!

Olaf had intended to sleep in late until the Giant Arrow poked at his workshop, with a loud crashing of timbers and raising of dust. Its another day repairing the thatched roof over his workshop, that Olaf knew was his daily penance by the Great Arrow wielder to guard him against sloth. Olaf also knew that if it weren't for the constant roof repairs, the wood cutters and plank makers would run out of work, and then they could just hang around the tavern drinking the brew, and eyeballing the barmaids in their tight corsets. Olaf knew that this type of behavior would increase the sins of Gluttony, and Lust. The extra gold spent would make the brewers greedy, and anger the honest working peasant when brew prices were raised, and creating envy among the other craftsmen when they saw how rich the brewers had become.
Olaf looked up at the cloudless lit sky and said "I am thankful to Great arrow wielder, for his benign destruction of property to save us from sin."

Up until recently my settlers were victims of terror. Now the pirates have a place to call their own and the Settlers of Lady Jil are forever thankful for the peace that is now upon their island.

We settlers have much to be thankful for in the past year. First, a miracle occurred one day, and suddenly it became possible to move our buildings! At last our haphazardly placed structures could be placed in groups that made sense.
Next we are thankful for the bountiful harvest of pumpkins, which we were able to trade for the granite needed to upgrade our buildings.
In addition, we are thankful for the exotic fruit baskets which came to us from far-off lands after the Nightmare of Rollback, which enabled our struggling gold mining operations to continue, despite the increased cost of mining.
Finally we are thankful for the members of our guild who have joined with us and helped our community to grow.

So thankful for the conscripted recruits on our island, and that im not one of them!! Talk about a high mortality rate.

On this day of Thanksgiving oh great ruler, we thank you for the opportunity to win fame with your great weapons of war, on distant islands that we continually and repeatedly batter.
