I have build new homes and uppgrated the space but where is the people? How do I get more of them to make my army..

You can wait for them.... you get a new settler every 15 minutes... or you can speed it up by building settlers in the provision house under the resources tab (wayfaring settler, traveler family, retired bandits) using bread
