Thanksgiving and New Content Appreciation Thread!

You know how you regularly see complaint threads about what BB/UBI are doing to royally F things up?
Well, your friendly neighborhood Emperor of Awesome (That's me, for those of you that don't know :P) is in a good mood today (mostly due to the fact that I can shove delicious foods in my face for most of the day, for what amounts to no good reason), and I do believe we're in need of a good ol' thank you thread.

Today, Zeus had an unexpected delay on maintenance, sucks, happens, oh well.
But, the update went over relatively well (so far, crossed fingers mode: engaged)
And the content, I honestly enjoy (might suck for you 50s though, sorry)

Allow me to second that, Lawlz. After initially being bombarded with repeated screenfreeze the source of which appeared to be the 03482390483208 quests that I instantly needed to catch up on, and some guild chat disappearances... my island has settled down nicely, I racked up over 20k in xps this morning alone; my pirate hut reappeared, and some very nice things are going on.

Am appreciative of BB having fixed the Guild Quest issues, as well as having uppied their payouts. Thank you for listening on those. Having the build grid light up, is fantastic (found some areas I can still build within) and so far all is good even though the morning began a bit glitchy and twitchy.

Having opportunities for picking up good xps outside of adventures is a very welcome sight for many players. Love the reduction in time for the geos to find stone and copper! Not to mention how tidy the Star Menu has become -- all of us with OCD can now sleep at night....

I agree, I am thankful for the added quests. I believe they are heading in the right direction with the guild quest set-up. and I like the changes they have made to building location indicators.

Nice rain, Chasmanicll. This thread wasn't intended to be a -= complain about it thread =- We all had some frustrations this morning, as you could see if you had read the prior posts. I understand yours, as I too waded through that. You may want to post on a thread that 1) is not Zeus since you are on Ares therefore the server issues are different; and 2) put a constructive bug issue post in one of the threads for that. Simply complaining here is not going to help get your issue(s) fixed.

Hope the Ares server issues you are having settle down soon, it can be frustrating for sure.

Seriously, sorry about your frustrations. Having played since closed beta, I have had plenty of frustrations believe me. Raining on someone else's kindness, (like Lawcano's post today on Thanksgiving) has just never solved those frustrations for me. Working with support however, nearly always has.

No rose colored glasses, here. Just big 'ol baby blues. @.@

I am grateful for the attention to detail in this roll out. From the animations to the organization of the star menu (for those of us with OCD tendencies, aka Lawlcano). the added quests are helpful and not a waste of time, and for newer players will help them toward a more balanced island.
