[Quest] Battle Master freeze work-around

If you are having issues with your game freezing, it may be caused by having viewed the quest "Battle Master" in your quest book.

Otherwise:
When viewing your quest book, if you happen to land on the quest "Battle Master" make sure you click another quest in the book BEFORE exiting the quest book.

If "Battle Master" is in queue as the new quest you will keep getting that arrow / pop up combo and you will need to use this work-around every time you view your quest book.

It only works intermittently, unfortunately. I have finally stopped even bothering with it and just shut off background sound, let the arrow bounce continually, and then when I'm done on my island I load a cheap adventure and just hang out on that island and can then still use guild chat and mail at least. You don't have to view your quest book to run adventures, as all of those behaviors can be done from the remote adventure box simply by clicking on it (i.e. visit, send army, etc).

okies, just smitey should report in here...... Smitey has had massive issue with this quest...... even avoiding closing quest book on this quest, was still freeing massively. So smitey figuered was left with two options, RAGE quite, or simply best the Quest. Well has a subquest "Tons of Weapons" for those that have it you understand the desired production... and for those who apperceiate the value of our most limited and prescious reasource, our biulding licenes, you understand its a pretty painfull quest. anyway smitey now has 8 Expert buildings smitey did not want, 3 of them had to be level 2. and had to use 8 of smiteys Zombies, that require real investment, and were ment to produce real return. but finally the quest was comlplete....tons of weapons reward claimed. So next Battle Master turns Green, and nothing... still nothing... now instead of arrow saying new Quest, it say Quest complete. There is no claim rewards button for it.... if you close book on it, it is still auto freeze. On the plus side, now smitey does seem to be able to use the orginal skit around posted now, and get more than 30 seconds to 1 min of gameplay at a time =)

hmmm gets worse it seems..... if you do try to compleate this quest to try to lessen the freezing, make sure to not have an adventure going, at least not any troups any one..... as smitey did, and after wards could not visit the IotP, so finally after several attempts and gettting stuck in loading map, smitey cancelled adventure....... 250 general and 3 BHG... 248 cav 500 cannons all MIA....... smitey fears they will never be seen again.
