chat not working

I tried using the chat in game, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Here is the reply I got from Support:

Hello Wimpy,

Thank you for sending in your question.


There are currently 2 workarounds that are working for most players (until this is fixed by the dev team).

1. Change your note in your guild tab.

And - Or

2. You must be dropped from your guild and wait the 24hr time span. You will then be able to rejoin your
guild and chat should be working once again.

That is a great way to fix a bug. Why is there a test server?? just for fun I guess. BB's fun, sure not the players.
