A way to kill the Battle Master "New Quest" pop-up loop

Don't know if this was figured out or talked about by anyone else but I have found a way to kill the annoying, incessant Battle Master "New Quest" pop-up , at least for the current session. Open quest page, it should of course default to the Battle Master quest... notice there is no instant finish button. Now select a different quest, that quest should have an instant finish button (little gem and checkmark button). Now select the Battle Master quest again and this time the instant finish button should appear. If you hover over it you will notice it has a value of zero. Click it once, it wont finish the quest but the button will click.
Now select a different quest again and exit the Quests Page.
Hope this works for everyone else, it has and continues to for me.

This does indeed work! You will have to redo it every now and again, but what a relief not to have that new quest thingy flashing every minute!
