    Buffing? Vets help plz

    New to this so can use some help. Which buildings are worth the cost to buff? Should I use up my produced buffs or even pay to buff Masons? What about Coal Mines, Iron mines, Fisherman etc... For instance I have a lvl 2 coal mine. Is it worth it if it produces 700 coal every twelve hours to drop a Gift Basket on it just to get dbl production for 6 hours or sell the gift basket in the AH? Just an example but seems like I would make more coin and resources selling the buff then I would get a return for buffing say a pinewood sawmill. Would appreciate any suggestions from veteran players as to what their buffing strategies are. I know I've read plenty about keeping gold chains buffed but not there yet so mainly the lower resource buildings up to say Iron mines and smelters. Thanx...

    I have fish currently valued at 0.012, bread at 0.026, and sausage at 0.067.

    That makes a fish platter worth 0.12, a sandwhich worth 1.00, and a basket worth 4.34.

    So -- on the fish platter, you need to produce 0.12gc worth of product in 30 min to break even.
    Water - 0.01 value - 3m cycle - goods value <= 0.1gc --- Don't buff wells -- lv2 watermills are profitable
    Fish - 0.012 value - 3m cycle - goods value <= 0.12gc --- Only buff lv2 or higher fisherman
    Farm - 0.023 value - 12m cycle - goods value <= 0.046 --- Olny buff lv3 or higher farms
    etc..

    In the end, it's all the cheap stuff that comes into question. Never buff wells. Only use platters on farms, fish, pinewood, masons because you lose money on the longer buffs. Breweries and Mills need to be level 4 or 5 to turn a profit from baskets. The break-even point on almost everything else (bakeries, smelters, mines, cokers etc) is around level 2.
