Christmas view is bad
It's bad to change everything to white, hard to see anything!
-
They should have just had falling snowflakes looking nice.
-
or modified some of the other colors so it's not so difficult to see

black and white everything is a poor design

Yeah the white over everything was not very appealing & made it impossible to find the buildings I was supposed to buff on someone's island, obviously not much effort was made to make it aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Cheap!

there is some color to it... but hard to see. You need to zoom in close to really notice it.
What they should have done, is make it look like it had snowed on everything rather.
There was no need to change the building colors and the people too... just add a bit of snow on the rooftops and keep the people the same as well.
It's almost as if they switched to a black and white image, switch back to 32bit color mode and added in some color on a few things lol. :P
So yes, I agree it was cheaply done which is why I didn't bother buying another thousand snowflake item from anyone... and I saw someone selling one for 1 coin. :P

If you paid close attention you'd have noticed that your people were only white out in the snowy areas, when they crossed into the fir trees they'd get their normal colors back. Makes me think that they simply decided to add a layer of white to everything rather than make it aesthetically appeasing or realistic. I appreciate the attempt but they'd get an it "needs work" or "improvement needed" on their report card.

The look of the x-mas effect is terrible. Do a new one for next year. Bad artists bad.

What they did is very lazy of them and I hope next time they can hire a real designer to give a snowflake overlay. It would take about 15 minutes to code a nice one...
