Stating simply.... What were u all thinking? No way was there any possibility of Ares Server remotely even getting close to a prize. Why is that? well geee wiz - dontcha know bout the crossover players, w/fully armed mains still active on Zeus. Remember the day the server died... hint...

Perhaps.... next time - use our server stats, implement Server x against Server x - approx. same stats, if Ubisoft n BB r seeking the addictive nature of mmo's... Many of us would of Coined 4 instant troops, competitively, therefore more profit.
One thing that leaves me perplexed, would a BB_Some1 pls explain to me about main accounts, why are they allowed to cross over servers? I Really Don't Want to Hear this ongoing Excuse, "Well my Zeus Main acct wouldn't let me login, so i trashed that Acct, I no Longer Login or use it..." Lies- if that's so, why are they still playing on Zeus? If they've replaced they're so called Main Account with Ares... It's a bunch of B.S. And miss management is responsible for it.
A few Zeus players I no of on Ares have actually stopped & -0- they're Zeus Islands.
All in good humor - Does this not mean I can join a German Server, after all I speak it sorta ok... LoL even though they weren't to thrilled the other day when I said, "Grüße, I bin Amerikaner kann ich spielen auf Ihrem Server, Ich bin auf Ferien".

Note: Why in the world would Zeus peeps on Ares bother even building enough to play the adventure or bother concentrating on Ares Server accts when they're mains are all on Zeus. Pls don't answer that.

Pardon my first comments to this thread, dang it i couldn't help myself... In defense of Ares Server and my tiny island inside on it, Ubisoft, BlueByte... I'm kinda shocked and saddened by this Mayan thing' contest. It is totally unfair as you all know it. As for USA Servers? i believe both are pretty young compared to the German ones.

Keep in mind ya no .. it's just a game, it is the incremental hours though isn't it... pathetically speaking, if you think about it; had all expected information relating to feedback of each Server's stats gotten to the Dev's like it should of, the preparedness to launch this Event, had any1 really taken Notice - That Over Half (seems 2me n others) of Ares Server Members consists of Zeus Mentors, Zeus Account players, Zeus Main Account players, et' al. (do not know what label they preferred to be called). Pardon my directness, isn't meant to excite or insult. My directness isn't meant to cause controversy whatsoever. I've read a whole bunch of - ""Unfair of", 'BB" & "Ubisoft" to expect Ares to compete", type comments in our global chat...
So in ending this, as it now isn't so much fun to play today... kind of upsetting for my Newly started Fun as he* game... such a refreshing thing compared to my other two.... bums me out.... Does Upper Management Ever Read these Threads or am i to assume this will remain in the Forum Zone, n never passed on to Dev's or Higher up Management where it belongs. Might i add... Software Dev runs in my family... Not knew to game Dev by any means... w/all that said, i would love my new fav game to remain fair.

ould you like some Cheese with your whine ??????. if your islands and levels are low then get going. crying on the forums when you could have done a adv and leveled up.Maybe the powers to be figure this will be a reason for your server to get off their rear ends and level up. nly way to balance a newer server to a older one is PLAY. Maybe by the next server contest you will be higher. I now nothing about how the 2 servers compare except fromgripes here, But as people get higher they level slower thats a good way to catch up.
The primary issue I have with the whole, Zeus/Ares situation is that When the servers were having problems, many Zeus players created and played on accounts on the Ares server. A week or so ago, Zeus servers were down for some reason and many of those players came to Ares and were "active" on those accounts. I was there, I know...they made it a point to go on and on about how Ares sucks and how we are horrible people who don't know how to play the game (nothing like a bit of personal violation when you just want to play a game.)
Because those players were "active" on the Ares server within the 30 days prior to the EoTW event, those players are used to determine the "completion percentile" for the prizes...despite the fact that they will NOT be working towards helping Ares achieve it's completion goals...In fact, I know of at least 3 people who have main accounts on Zues who will not be helping Ares achieve their goals--not only skewing our completion quota, but receiving a dang reward for doing it! (when we achieve our completion goals).
I think that Ubisoft has been insulting to Ares players since just after I started playing--based upon the Ubisoft name, and it was a game that sounded (and is) fun. I'm not really concerned with what Ares people think of me, nor those from Zeus, but I can promise you this: if I felt that Ubisoft gave a crap about me, or what I feel and think...then I Would have purchased the veteran general among dozens of other items. But, because I don't know that I will continue to play this game, I'm not willing to invest in it.
I've been taken a fool by both E.A. Games, and Blizzard...It's not happening again. I think that Ubisoft's blantant disregard for me and my server reflects a business ethic that I'm not willing to deal with. I'm hoping that I can be proven wrong because I think this is a fantastic game, with great prices on their products--and I don't mind supporting developers, and companies that actually give a crap about whether or not I am harassed, ripped off, or dissatisfied with an injustice they've allowed to happened--they've created.
So, delete this, read it...it's really up to Ubisoft to prove themselves to Ares players at this point.

For being such a young server you are doing well. Maybe next time they can have different brackets based on the average active player level or something.

SabbyKat articulates an extremely valid point that would make the competition between the 2 servers void unless there are a similar numbers of Ares' players sandbagging Zues. (very unlikely)
