The goal of my settlers is to be more independent on getting resources. This will help myself and my guild because with riches I will share the rewards with other guild members. Sharing is caring throughout the year. Life is too short to be greedy. I found that out last year when I had 2 heart attacks in one day. Bless you all and keep up the settlers expansions and adventures.

As the watchful governor of my island, I have tried my best to help the settlers slowly colonize a new world and carve a living for themselves among the many other great and mighty island empires. Through thick and thin, License shortages, populations limits, bandits and dogs and the crazy Wild Mary, I have been through a lot with my loyal friends and allies. This new year we will rise even further! Grow ever larger! Expand our horizons through trade and conquest. In doing so we can ensure the safety and prosperity of generations of hard working settlers. However, the fight to break the curse that would have ended the world took a great toll in our land. Many honorable men were lost and our treasuries and storehouses are near empty. The settlers and I have come together and written a new years resolution for 2013.
"First we must replenish our wares and heal our wounded. Second we will recruit and train an army so massive that it has never before been witnessed in all the isles of man. Then we will FIGHT! We will take on any adventures we can find and drive back all the bandits that plague our world. This year we will step forth and fight for our land, for our families, for everlasting peace!"
We will accept any all help on this quest of ours. For if we succeed in our resolution, we will not just bring peace to our island, but peace to all the islands and its settlers.

As one of the Elite soldiers of the 3rd division of the 8th battallion, myself and all the soldiers in my division resolve to spend more time training these recruits. We also pledge to drink more of their brew, as they don't seem to be able to handle it very well. Every time we go into battle, all the men in our entire division are able to return to our noble residences, while all of the new recruits end up left broken and scattered on the battlefield, with only a few terrified souls returning.
I also resolve to upgrade our accomidation from this noble residence into the penthouse of a nice, classic witch tower. I think after all of our glorious victories in battle, we deserve to stand head and shoulders above this town.

As of January first, i wish to have my savage scout and my explorer keep theyre eyes peeled, for those magic beans out there that are rumored to grow a huge vine to the sky. Of course they will be commanded strictly not to buy any cows with them, but instead, bring them home for their true use. My Veteran General will be commanded to climb to the giants stronghold where he will be slain and that Golden Goose of his will be mine! All mine! Golden eggs all year round i tells ya!

My New's Year's Resolution is to have the tavern to make settlers, leaving us a bit more room in the Prov. House!

Jonah, the Mayor of Falconwolf Isle has made a new years resolution on behalf of all the citizens he represents.
He has resolved to increase production while decreasing work!
He has resolved to build more Silos and Watermills!
He has resolved to build more Deerstalker huts and Recycling Manufactories!
And above all else Jonah has resolved to build more Breweries and Friaries so that his citizens can enjoy their extra relaxation time!
