New Years Resolution Contest

Hy!

Sorry because the grammar, I'm not an native Englishman. Please tell me where I made my grammar errors (I will chack the words my self, but I won't corrigate here) in order to learn this language even better. (This time unusual I try my writings whitout any dictionary to test my self.)

This is not for contest, but try my self write something funny practice foreign. I hope I'm not bore anyone with my practice, but with this many peoples I can learn better.

Story: My accepted application for this job.

Two young settlers walking on the forest. One is a small guy with a helmet with two wings on the two side, blond hair and mustashe. The other guy is quite big with red hair and mustashe. He have a relative small hemlet with two small horn on it form a cute version of a typical horned helm and cute little white dog.

These two strange people carry wild boars. The smaller one carry only one wild boar. The bigger one carry anyhow at least six wild boars. Soon they heard a strange noise from the direction of the village of they. They started to run with the boars and reach the village quite soon. When they get inside they see most of the peoples are lay on the ground with typical mark of fighting. Some of the settlers are on the houses or looking out of the ,,new windows/doors". The bigger one start to yelling:,, Oh, how rude you all are leave me out of fun".

Soon a magician appear and start to say: Oh, for the name of Tutatis what are you have done? If you do this what the peoples start to think of us?

Somebody of the dizzy crowd: But we just have some fun... I mean serious Philosophy about the freshment of the fish.

Magician: Do you know why the hostile neightbourns didn't attack?

Crowd: Why?

Magician: Because you hit the on the other side of this island and they start to fear. If you would act mre peacefuly you could have enemy to fight.

The crowd sunk in deep thoughts.

First a man with mantle stand up on the shield he lay until now. He cross his hand act like he search for something, or somebodies. Soon two guy appear and raise the shield. He started to speak: Alright as your leader I make an announce in order to have more fu... I mean visitor, we should show our best manners and make a good repultation.
Then he turn to the way of his back, which one movement was copy by the two shield holder guy and start to leave. After geting home the leader point on me and started to speak:

Leader: As you see my new city architecture we are civilizated peoples, and this is the couse we hired you, until we can concentrate of more... important matters. I hope you will join your work here and find everything good. You start to day and now

I: Thank you Sir. I try my best, you can count on me.

Leader smile: Good. You find everthing on that desk.
He pointed a dusty, beautiful desk with chair and maps dusty as the same.

I try to blow the dust with all my lung's strenght. The desk and everything else was blown a way left nothing.

Leader: Oh, heh. oh well I think this little problem won't be hold you back. Bye.
The leader with the two carrier is leave fast, while I'm in the same positure like a stone statue paralized by my suprise.

The small blond and the huge red guy come in and invite me in they house as a temporary place to live until I don't have my own house.

I wonder how my days will be. I hope I will be the best of my profession.


My new year resolution:
My settlers want to be one of the friendliest peoples on this world... From now on they will only fight because the fish only every second day (a'la Asterix and Obelix). :-)

Personailty of mine:

I write this just for fun, it's not have any similarity of my personality.

I'm a typical defensive player. While other peoples motto ,,Best defense is attack" I think ,,the best attack is a well prepared defence". I'd like to fortificate and wait my enemies arrive with some suprise. Who need to many enemy. Isn't?

So don't worry new members if we go in fighting zones (If try it anyhow) I wont raid anyone. In fact I join, because I have enought of war startegy games and want to have some pause and good memory from this game and a little nostalgia.

Settler Harold Fiddleworth's New Year's resolution: to make the current Grim Reaper general "disappear" so that Harold can take his place. Why, you ask? Because Harold dislikes his name immensely, and being known as the Grim Reaper would be, well... way cooler.

as mayor of my little settler group i sent out special requests to all my settlers asking them to share their new years resolutions. this then is one of those resolutions.
i sit in my house this year safe from a nother long winter night. thinking about those who are displaced by our fight. we fight to bring peace an prosperity to one an all. but of those who lost that fight alone in the cold, hungry an dieing. what of them. i resolved to do even more to help these lost souls to provide more to fuel the fight to bring them to safety to get thim in housing to get them in from the cold an harsh conditions found in our world. bandits an evil witches an greedy theives. time to do even more this year to better our world. but, as i pondered on this i wondered what i could do to help that i dont already do? i will build more places to live an more places to work. i will give more time to help those new come to our community to adjust to our goal.
as mayor, i found this very moving. i ask then for your support in this endevour. for it should be a resolution of us all to leave our world a better place each day, if we only make a small change each an every day this year. the end of this year will see many major changes from all of our efforts to effect a small change each day. happy new year to all of you, my loyal settlers. ( resolution - to bring major changes to our world by bringing small daily changes in the world around me).

for real worlds i want humans work hard for , peace, health, wealth, happiness ( especially for the kids ), understanding each others and our differences, respect them, like and love......

for the game

i will send settlers kids to college, they need to see some college parties always harvesting farm, making flour, iron,steel and other things. they need to see the other part of the life )

I will banned to use condom on the island and this way they can produce more baby and more babies more settler ) i will also send some ask the DEV team to put Viagra in the shop for who needs )

I will ask my fishermen to make bigger fish boat and we can catch some Tuna, swords fish or even Whale.. Otherwise catching sardines not good enough ) They should able to catch some bonus fish like Whale and give us 5k or 10k instantly

I will send my mayor to Dev team to negotiate this provision house and barrack productiveness. He is very very old man and getting tired to click 500 - 1000 times daily to produce 25 military units, 25 buffs and 2500 depos. He wants to able to produce 250 military units, 250 buffs and 25k depos with one click. He said if they change this then he can more productive in the bed room to make baby for the island

He will also ask for trading system ( he loved the new system btw) to able to put more stuff free ( not charging 3 -6-9.. coins per trade) and trades stay there maybe all day not 6 hours...

My buff buddy also wants to able to buff the buildings even the buildings buffed. That way we can put 2-3 buffs on the same buildings and same time. We should able to add buff on the buildings not bad idea )

All my settlers said that we love the BB_meesher and BB_xTed being around and helping all lot..

The New Year's Resolution of the citizens of Isle of Bean is to research the art of sea travel. Too long have we lost 39 horses so that 1 cavalry may pass to another island! Too long have 9 iron swords rusted and only 1 been useable in combat! It has just not been efficient to swim to each and every adventure, so to learn sea travel will increase productivity and efficiency.

Evan Miller was a young man with dreams. Evan, was his given name, but everyone called him "Tiny". Life on Tiny's island was one of routine, but there was also a sense of community, everyone knew his/her job and they knew it quite well. Tiny was quiet like his father, and few paid particular attention to his daily activities.

Time passed on the island, the seasons turned, the town grew, new arrivals joined the community and much went on as it had. But all the while Tiny nurtured his dream, one of grand adventure, giving it thought nearly every day. He worked hard and saved every coin.

One morning, Tiny woke to a winter frost and knew that the time was soon at hand. He would tell his family and friends of the adventure that awaited him. After a hard day of work, Tiny went to the tavern, as was the custom of many an islander toward the evenings. It was a warm gathering spot where the community enjoyed the fruits of their labor and a respite from the cold night air. Tonight the tavern was filled with family, friends, neighbors, and one other. One who watched the comings and goings almost completely unnoticed. For although small by some standards this town was quite busy. Busy enough for one to go about almost unnoticed if so inclined.

As his loved ones sat by a warm fire sipping brew Tiny rose from his seat and announced, "January 1st, that's the day I am off on my adventure!" The tavern grew quiet as the patrons sat in stunned silence. Then the tavern erupted in laughter. Many had risen from their chairs throughout the years to boast in high voices, most coaxed by drink, but Tiny never did. He rarely spoke and then never loudly. It was simply preposterous. "I bet he doesn't make it past the mayor's house.", one exclaimed. The idea of Tiny on any sort of an expedition was too much for the patrons to believe. Only Tiny himself knew in his heart he WOULD try. That is, Tiny, and one other knew.

For the one who has watched that miller's son since early days knows that from tiny dreams to grand ambitions this world is what you make of it. A wish for all, despite odds or expectations, to pursue our dreams with passion in the new year.
