    loot spot etiquette

just a few points to make here about how i personally feel a loot spot should be done, on both the buyer's and seller's end

1>>all coin should be sent to the seller before they send the invite, unless the 2 are good friends or the seller trusts the buyer fairly well

2>>buyer should send a fast gen if available, unless the seller has stated tht any gen is acceptable

3>>the seller should finish the adventure as soon as possible after the looter tags. fast finish typically means tht only 1 more attack needs to be sent after the tag. if this isnt the case, perhaps due to what camp is easiest for the looter to tag on, it shouldnt take any more than 10 minutes to complete the adv if fast finish is stated

4>>after the last enemy camp falls, the looter SHOULD NOT click the claim reward button in the quest book. as soon as either player clicks 'claim reward', the game will not recognize any changes made to troops assigned to generals. any troops not assigned to a general when the adv ends get stuck on a 1hr 40min troop transport back home. tht means the player has to wait an extra 70-85 minutes than they would've had they been able to get those troops on a general. so the looter should wait for the other player to click 'claim reward' in case they, like i often do, forget to assign all unused troops to a gen till after they have killed the last enemy

if any1 feels something should be added, plz feel free to mention it. if you disagree w any point i have made here, plz feel free to mention tht as well, but keep in mind this is how I do MY lootspots, and have every right to make my own rules as to how mine will be done

Good thoughts for those who buy and sell loot spots.

In our guild, Fire & Rain, we do not sell loot spots. We give them no charge to members of the guild. I have not heard of any of our members selling loot spots. Our members like this because it helps newer members advance faster. One of the reasons for having a guild.
If something can go wrong, it will.

we do the same thing on a regular basis in my guild as well. on odd occasions, when auctions are going on, we will choose to seel a few, and it was at 1 time such as this tht i wrote this post, after having the person buying the spot click the 'claim reward' button lol. tht was the main point in writing this post, and only prompted me to come to the forums about it because i had been plannin on running another adv right after, but didnt get my elites on a general, so became a no go till they got back over an hr later

I am fairly new to the game and also do no understand why a member of a Guild would sell a loot spot rather than offering it to a fellow guild mate gratis. Also, instead of selling or trading their settlers' products to guild mates at a small or no profit, it seems most everyone in Global chat and TO as well have guild tags, and sell their goods at whatever price the Market will bear.

I am playing on Ares BTW, but knowing there are guilds such as Fire & Rain gives me hope that such guilds will grow on Ares as well...
