Cookie buff with no affect

I just buffed my friend jltplayer with a cookie buff. The buff disappeared from my star menu but did not affect my friend's building. This is the second time this has happened. Last week I buffed her with an Aunt Irma's Gift Basket with no effect.

I need this Cookie Buff replaced.

can u tell her im going to add her and see if a basket buff from me will work? it may be her island that isnt responding to the buffs

AtomicSoldier thank you for your help! Elee tried the buff a second time and it worked, however she still lost the first buff.

It is Great to know there are people like AtomicSodier in this game!
