Morgan, you are correct, the vintage mug giveaway goes directly to facebook and NOT to this forum.

I also do not use facebook, twitter, etc. I also have put money into this game, and have been playing it loyally for over a year now.

I understand from a business point of view wanting to utilize the social media outlets, BUT, I also agree it is NOT fair to those people who do NOT have facebook, etc, and play ubisoft games.

I believe it makes even BETTER business sense to make it equal and fair to ALL players.

make a fb account just for the sweepstakes, same w twitter, you never have to look at them again. thats what i did for the twitter entries. the initial problem some here have with fb is tht you dont want your personal info on a site like that, which i can completely understand. you can create as many email accounts on yahoo as you want, for free. so make a email account there, use tht account for ur fake fb and twitter accounts, and you are set

honestly lostsoul913 I could care less who knows what about me I think the whole concept of social media is a bad idea and should be shut down before it leads to much bigger problems.

Facebook/Twitter/redit(?)/linkn(?)/what ever other ones you can name poster says: Hey guys I am going for dinner and a movie be back in like 3 hours!

Some criminal who happens to have made friends with said user thinks to themselves: Well there's my next robbery location.

And thats just something simple that could happen now apply that murders rapeists kidnappers ect ect social media at some point in the near future has the potential to cause massive harm to the people useing it and the owners could care les as long as they get paid.

Speaking paid the co-founder gave up US citizenship before the IPO just so he didn't have to pay taxes thats pretty slimey in and of itself.

Ok Ok I'll stop and get off the soapbox again sorry just somethings make me sad for the future of this world.

morgan, i understand your point of view completely, and in many ways i agree with you. i was simply making a suggestion of how to enter the sweepstakes using facebood and twitter w/out actually putting ur info out there on either site. a dupe email account thru yahoo, link a dupe fb account and twitter account to it, enter the sweepstakes that way. only have to check the email to see if you've won the sweepstakes. i have probly 10 or so dif yahoo email accounts i've used for stuff like tht in the past lol

technically everyone on ur friends list can figure when u're home and when u arent, so fb only marginally increases security threat u already hav playin this game. i can probably figure that just by trackin ur TO posts, people are creatures of habbit.

i wonder if i can trace ur ip if we are on same adventure or chat in wisper. hehe , im going to try that, im bored enuf

Facebook is free to join. Great way to communicate events!

There is an alternative way to enter the contest. Someone in your guild with FaceBook access just has to click on the other ways to enter and let you know what you need to do.

I refuse to open a fb account just to enter competitions.

We had to register our personal details here when we joined, what's wrong with advertising the comp on fb and then they have to come here to enter?
