How do you beat her?? I have attacked her 4-5 times now and still nothing... she is all that's left

you need to sacrifice 199cavalry to kill her 199 dogs, then use a mix of rec and longbows, maybe soldiers so soak up all the damage to save ur longbows (been forever, i cant remember). only way as far as i know, the dogs need to die 1st or ur troops wont survive long enough to kill mary

Wave 1: 199 Cavalry

Wave 2: 35 Milita, 50 Soldiers, 115 Longbowmen

This might sound like a dump question, but what is a "wave?" Does that just mean sending your general out with a group of troops and then sending him out with a second group after the first are all killed? Or do I need a second general (not sure if there is even such a thing)?

Extra generals are helpful especially when you need more than one attack(wave). No waiting for recovery.

Thanks. Is there a downside to waiting other than I might have to take time to recruit more troops? Do the bandits recruit more troops too or does their level of damage remain the same?

everything you kill stays dead between waves.
anything not killed is fully recuperated for the next wave. (but no extra enemies get recruited)
the waves that romangodcamper provided account for this so you win.

there is no downside for having one general for both waves besides having to wait.
