Don't hold your breathe. Guilds have been wrong from closed beta. Not much has been done to make them work more efficiently. I read the changes proposed, its a good start to repair a bad system.
Guild leaders still cannot hand over leadership, guild officers cannot add spots to the guild.
We still will not be able to see online activity, this is a change proposed in "future" changes...like PVP its a wisp in the future. To bring this into prospective, PVP has been promised since closed beta, have you seen it yet?

They need to fix guild leadership change issue.
    1. The guild leader NEEDS to be able to _voluntarily_ give leadership to another member.
    2. After 2-3 weeks of the _guild leader_ being inactive, one of the next rank of members can take control of the guild (I suppose he would have to have a guild building). (no I don't care who it might be, but anything is better than an inactive guild leader).

Thanks for your suggestions! i will add them to the list.

As for PvP, you are on the money. But i can't help you there, all i know is i want to put in my suggestions here and, guilds are what the Devs are working on.

PvP will come when the Dev's are ready to launch it.

Noted, thanks for the suggestions, i am about to work on another list of guild suggestions, which will deal with issues like these.

Edit, these suggestions have been added with my main post.

A Q&A has been released on the Homepage!

The Devs are finally revealing what issues they are working on.

    1. Guild Leadership exchange. Inactive leader? kick him!

    2. Guild Stats. They didn't talk about what this means, but it is safe to assume that how active that member is and(or) what adventures he is doing will be added.

    3. Guild Storage, once more, they didn't talk too much about it, so we are in the dark until these changes hit the testing servers.

    4. As many know the size of guilds has been a minor issue but still a issue, while enlarging wasnt a feature they want to add, they do want to balance the numbers within the up and coming updates.

    5. Guilds in PvP is in the making, but they cannot talk about it. (they don't want to "give us hope" on the topic)

Like them? hate them? what do you think?

This thread open for suggestions from a guild-member perspective rather than a guild-leader perspective?
I love my guild, we work really well together, we use chat all day long and help each other accomplish guild quests pretty quickly - every guild thread gives me the impression everyone finds guilds and guild quests ineffective but I love 'em as a member.
    But...
I wish there were more guild features, making guild interaction easier.
For example, being able to sort the guild list below the star icon by who's online instead of by level so you know who you can chat, message, whisper, trade to or invite on an adventure.
Another example, having an option at the TO to see what's for sale by your guild members, increase interactivity with your guild. It's like buying product made in your own country - I'd rather deal with a guild member when the option is available and I'd pay more for something from a guild member because I know it's supporting the group.

Who needs PvP you ask Director, I think everyone who joined this game due to the talk of PvP and invested money in this game knowing it was going to have pvp and not just be a college kids school project on an open market trading system.

I don't fully understand your question/statement. So ill revise this answer when you respond :P

I am aware of the players who have spent money on the game, and want PvP. When i argue PvP, i am kinda on the Fence.

    1. There are players who want PvP, and have payed to that end, and there are players who don't want PvP and have payed on that end.

    2. PvP won't be on your home land. This is a big issue that many players have because if it was, it would force you to play PvP.

So, to that end, i don't mind PvP.

Now about "collage kids school project on an open market trading system" i don't understand what you mean.

EDIT: i just saw where you you got my question "who needs PvP anyway?". and it is a huge mistake on my part. PvP has its cons and pros, and i am not prepared to fully argue when nothing is solid. (other than the home island is safe) I will edit my posts that deal on the subject.

    Great Suggestions!

    ill add them soon.

As for members/leaders, i have been both. So i know a lot about running one, and working as a team player. There are a lot of Leader issues. Just simple issues that could make it easier to run a guild.

And, yes! I would love both members and Leaders to post their ideas here! Its always important to see both sides of the coin. One good idea for a leader could be bad for the average member. So it's important to have lots of feedback.
