Where is my geologist?

So I just started this game. I'm Level 4 already and I even got the info that I have the geologist available.
When I look at the player guides and a wiki of the tutorial, they all so I should have a geologist in my Star area.
But it's completely blank. I checked all the tabs and they are are empty.

Funny thing is that the wiki about the tutorial says there is a much later quest is to build a Tavern.
But I already got that quest and completed it.
So I have a Tavern now, and it says a Geologist costs 100 gold.
When will I be able to buy one? I only have 15 gold!

Am I suppose to have a free one already? Where is he?

SeboRex, You have to buy one from the tavern before you can have one in your star menu. They should have given you enough gold in previous tasks that you should have enough to buy him for your quest, if not it suggests that you did things out of order.

I did things in the order the tasks were presented to me. At one point, it even said the geologist was available. That was even before I built the Tavern. There's a wiki that even says I should have gotten a geologist. Is it a bug maybe?

OK. Just finished one more quest and now I have over 100 gold to buy a geologist.
