so far I have seen this on 3 single player maps
it did not happen on victor
has anyone seen this on a 2 player map?
I have not lost any troops yet
I will try to stick to single blocks for a while though

Agree this is new MAJOR problem w/ latest maintenence. Have lost Cs on Outlaws & just lost 150+ Es in VtV because of jumping gens.. Very frustrated. Please fix this ASAP.
it appears to me that a general starts 'jumping' like seen in sanii's videos when he is in the aggro zone of a camp currently being attacked, but not in the aggro zone of his targeted camp. in the 2nd video, 'outlaws middle leader block', the general blocking the camp on the left enters the aggro zone of the middle camp, and starts skipping ahead till he reaches the aggro zone of the camp on the left, the camp he has been sent to, at which point he starts walking normally. as such he reaches his camp long before the vet leader attack is anywhere near the left camp's aggro zone (shoulda been right on top of it when battle in left camp started).
i might've been mistaken, but it appears the general is about 2 spaces into a camp's aggro zone before he starts skipping. he then appears to skip from 1 space in between his pathing markers to the next, effectively halving his travel time accross that aggro zone. perhaps this can be used to our advantage for the time being to make some blocks possible that were previously impossible. this will make some blocks undoable, or have to be redone to adjust for timing. this of course will require some extra work to figure it all out, but if this was intended rather than being a bug, i see opportunity here

They won't fix something that was never intended to be part of the game.
of course 1st we need word from a BB on whether this was intended or is in fact a glitch, as taking advantage of it if it is a glich would be concidered an exploit. so come on BB, dont be chicken here, if this was an intended 'feature' to attempt to mess up blocking come out and say it. if it is in fact an uninteded glitch let us know so those of us w some moral fiber wont attempt to take advantage of it. i await an answer before my next move

Ran Horseback adventure today and the blocks worked but had the "jumpy" generals problem. Sent in support ticket. On the Ares server.
i think double blocks such as is on pirates should still work, as the camps are all in line. this will lead to both the 2nd block's general skipping accross the aggro zone of the 1st block, as well as the attack general skipping accross the aggro zones of both blocked camps. this is all assuming i am correct that it will always happen with all generals and that it follows the same pattern every time and is not random. i will test this when i am able to

im still running my iotp's without any problems in the blocks, but the generals have a huge delay between them, and then start jumping
got more people telling me the blocks are failing...
BB programs like me sometimes, when one thing is fixed, three stop working![]()
Running Iotp's as well Evil. No problems with failed blocks, but is fun to see the gen warp speed to leader camp once last block engages. I had an intercept on Outlaws though, so not all is well.
Just got a response from support to my ticket:
"Hello malacai17,
Thank you for sending in your question. We are aware the new patch has caused some new latency issues. The dev team is aware of this however, at this time we can only recommend the process of clearing your cookies and cache to help with this. Please also be aware that the tactic of blocking is not support by the support team of this game, as this was a player created tactic and was not intended by the development team. We strongly recommend attacking each camp in order that they are presented to you."
Sorry BB Support, "latency issues" are not the problem; generals teleporting and/or moving at the speed of light when another attack is in progress is the problem.
