Suggestion: Custom Friends List

On the right of your friend's list, there's "All, Friends, Guild" sorting options. There's a 4th spot below that in which a "Custom" list could be added. Therefore we don't have to skim through (in my case) 100's of people to find one person. I've brought this up before in game and got positive feedback so I would like to make note of it on here.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: And if there is a custom list, be allowed to put them in any order, so it's not auto-organized by the game's preference but my own.

i want a custom list.. too many players who i don't really care about but i have to have them on my list for trades because of the 24 hour trade window.

I like this idea... I don't have hundreds of friends or anything, but I think it would be a really neat addition

A "Find Friend" is a good idea, but this idea isn't really something i would put in a "Top 100 Suggestions" list.

I would prefer a toggle to show one of these: All, online, or off line. This way I could do friends and online to see who's on instead of possibly scrolling past a lot of friends, guild members or both to see who is on currently.

Thats a cool idea too! A little checkbox or something. Wouldn't be difficult to implement.

It would be nice to have a custom button that can filter the friend avatars based on a name search string. Something like, click on custom button and a data entry box appears. We then type the name (accepting wildcards like *guacamole*). Then click on an OK button and only friends that match appears. There are already built in boxes (like Invite a Friend) in the game, so hopefully it would not be difficult to implement.
