Great Job General_Failure....See that is what I am talking about. Teamwork is key with these ADV's. If you find a few people and swap the Lootspots, you will have a much better chance of getting your quest finished.

    As for my story:
I abandoned all hope of completing the quest chain today after finishing my 6th Bandit Nest adventure and never receiving granite.

I spent over 7,000 gc net worth of resources and fragments on this one step of the quest, which makes just this one step more expensive than the entire reward for the chain. Perhaps it was stupid of me to enter a time-limit lottery disguised as a quest chain.

I decided it was way too much work and too costly.
Still around from time to time.

I know I'm not going to finish the quest and hearing that BN has a low drop rate for the quest means that if I'm using my map fragments to buy the adventure I would be way better off sell in it for the 1700 GC people are offering then the rewards for finishing the quest.
Would just comment that there is no reason to ABANDON the quest (especially after finishing 9 parts of it) you can just let it sit there and time out and just see if something should happen. It's likely the last 2-3 days lots of people would be looking for help to finish adventures and would be happy for people to join in.

I didn't even realize this had started, was the only announcement in the patch notes? So then I started doing the quests when I had time and after it took my explorers over a week to find 30 granite on the long treasure search now I find out this ends in a couple days. I just wasted 4K granite (3K of which was borrowed) building an dama sword smith - I don't think this will be quest abandoned for me, I think it will probably be game abandoned, after I pay back the granite at least.

This quest chain is hard enough and requires enough resources and luck it should be open-ended, or allow like five weeks to complete. Now that I went back and found the patch notes I find it comical that I was supposed to complete this in two weeks originally.

Anyway, if they do close the quests this Thursday I'll open a ticket for my granite. They can have the dama sword building, the quest rewards, everything back. But since I still haven't heard anything on the skip-walking my gen did on a VtV block that cost me hundreds of cav and my guild still cannot complete guild quests (some members STILL don't have them), I am not optimistic anything will ever come of this.

    Except game abandoned.

Note - I am trying to complete the quest that requires you to build 200 baskets then buff a friend or friends with 175 baskets. I buffed a guildmate (also on my friends list) with about 100 baskets and only 37 of them counted.

I'm not even going to bother with a ticket since the last is still unanswered. I don't see how this is supposed to be either enjoyable or doable since nothing is working and I haven't even got to the granite drops yet.

Anyway, once I pay back the granite I owe the guildmate I will be seeing you around. Too bad BB, I just got a job after long unemployment so I was almost able to start buying gems.

Read the quest again. The quest is to buff 175 buildings.

Well, let's see. After the above issue, I started checking. I buffed two of a friend's farms and three mills. I got four "buildings" counted towards the quest. Is one of the farms or mills not a "building" but the others are? I'm a little confused by this definition of a building that counts one farm or mill differently than the others.

Just posting an update. Got a reply from support that said to be patient, they're working on fixing a number of issues including mine with the new quests. Not sure how patience will help with a quest that will only be available for so long. I would like to complete it. They should just make Four Winds open-ended to take the pressure off themselves (and us honestly). That would keep me here longer. They pretty much have until I get the granite to pay back my guildmate...

Anyway, I'll be giving a DP loot spot away later today to someone trying to complete that quest, gotta go look at the levels needed for that part of it. Might as well help some others on my way out.

I am only level 26. I have YET to have my Explorer find the requisite adventure. I am sick of these quests that seem to be designed to get me to buy gems, though I can see that the repeated purchase of gems is your revenue stream. I think I will go back to AoE.
