Status of maintenance

Seriously, it just looks too odd for me. But I guess that's the way it is, BB gives you something and then takes away someone more in the process.
Now I understand why people have cancelled that quest all together. All BB is doing is getting people upset and NOT wanting to do the quests. I know you watch Global-1, you understand why people are upset with this. People have lost massive troops with it. I have not, YET. I was waiting for BB to make it right and FIX it, Yet I had faith they would fix it. I guess I am wrong in putting my faith into a game that clearly has a different agenda.

It's just sad Meesherbeans, real sad. It's a simple fix, but the powers that be clearly don't want it fixed. People ask me why I play this game, playing since the end of July I am wondering myself why I am. Such a waste of time for all the grief.

BB should be ashamed of themselves. They should spend there time creating New ADV's for people and removing the Cap limits. Make the game fun again and keep the higher levels in the game. People get to level 50 and quit. It's sad, the game gets boring. People struggle to find new ways to make the game fun, then BB pulls this type of stuff on people. It is creating an environment of dissension within the higher levels and people who get tired of the games. By games, I mean the giving a package to make us think you all care about us, then creating this bug that goes unfixed.

Lets look at this with reason. Only one of two things could have happened:

1. The jumping general problem was an accident.

2. It was done on purpose.

If it was an accident then someone should be hit over the head with a big stick.

If done on purpose, then we the players(customers) should be told.

There is not much more to be said except, if it was an accident then when will it be fixed.

If it was done on purpose, we would have most certainly told the players. I can promise you that.

And in regard to the Crisis Quests themselves, I actually just gathered all the feedback players posted about it on the forum today. We'll be forwarding it along. And no, we don't censor it at all. The community team is quite aware of the way some players feel about Four Winds and we will be passing it along.

Thank you Meesherbeans and I know you catch a lot of grief for this type of stuff. For that I am sorry and I am glad you are forwarding it along.

Wimpy, that answer is very simple. That issue will be addressed and/or fixed with the next Maintenance. Watch what will happen, you will see. I hope I get to eat my words, and I will. If it gets fixed sooner. I highly doubt it, as BB wanted people to play but make these quests much harder. They did a good job in having a lot of people cancelling them. As I told someone, a great quest would be to find like 800 Granite on a DP. Forcing you to do it over and over again. Not just one time, if you get lucky. In my guild we get The Dark Priests all the time as a Guild Quest and it gets boring after a while. But atleast we are getting less Nords to do.

Regarding the fix of the running general. I received the following reply from support when questioning why the maintenance didn't fix it:

"I feel quite bad about this as the dev team did not perform the intended maintenance to resolve these issues. I have not been told the the new date as to when the maintenance will be carried out, all we can suggest doing is checking the forums and the front page new for more news on this issue."

So I ask the age old question: Why is there always enough time to a job over but never enough to do it right in the first place.
