I sent 12 explorers out today on a long quest for eggs. Eagerly I opened my mail tonight to find 3 eggs. Seriously? At this rate I will be able to buy a veteran general in 450 days. I know there are other ways to get the eggs but I recall last year getting at least 10-20 eggs each time I sent them out. I hope this was just an unlucky trip if not I will be one unhappy camper.

I sent 3 Explores on a short search. Grand total 1 egg. Got a quest asking me to get 20 eggs from Med search. Sent all 3 on Med search.. Grand total 2 eggs. 3 Explorers gone 12 hours. 2 Eggs? The quest chains are not balanced at all. My wife was able to finish her entire quest chain within a few hours. My first one took a few hours and now it looks like my second one will take days. This is awesome.
me too got screwed by chance it will take me 8 days to complete my second quest find 50 eggs trhough very long searches of two days with three explorers this cant be what they wanted they should have make it so that everyone of the same level gets the same quests this is completly unfair and certainly no fun this again tells me that the devs dont understand their own gameOriginally Posted by Talador
The quest threads certainly are NOT balanced, but what I am really hoping is that since everyone will get 5 (or is it 6?) easter event quests, I"m hoping that there will be a total of 5 (or 6) different quests and each person will get each one once. If that is the case, then it's balanced, just some people will have the harder ones at the beginning and others will have them at the end or whatever.
It DOES make sense for them to randomize the order that people get the quests, otherwise if EVERYONE had a quest to get 500 eggs, the cost of eggs in the TO would be truly insane and then when everyone had easy quests that give eggs, the cost of eggs in the TO would plummet. This way things are a bit more stable, at least the influence due to the quests is stable.
If they are totally random, then I feel really really sorry for anyone who gets the hardest one 5 or 6 times!!! THat would be hugely unfair!!
long treasure hunts will give you 2 to 3 eggs on average. very long treasure hunts will give you 5 eggs all the time. you'll need to do some heavy trading or buy gems to get the general if that's your goal.
The transparent eggs are the % chance you wont get any eggs
I just got 10 eggs from a medium or long search(can't remember). Either this is very wrong, or I got very lucky.
Got 14 from a medium search... (explorer was upgraded to find % more loot though). Found it worked well from Xmas event.
