i highly recommend every1 clear their trade posts before the start of maint. a friend of mine just told me that a while back, he lost a DC he had up for sale when maint started. wasnt in star, on his island, no extra gc from the sale in his storage, nothing in the trade history about him attempting to sell a DC. every response he got was the same basic message of 'no screenshot, no proof, we are not responsible'. not that exact wording of course, but read between the lines. how do you take a screenshot of something missing??
