    Exclamation Loading Screen Freeze - Clear Cache Error Message - Unable to Log In

    For the last two days I have had trouble loading the game past the login screen. The login stage is not the issue, however the main page loads extremely slowly (not an internet connection issue as on testing other pages load rapidly). The screen will change to the load screen, if the loading bar moves at all (often it won't move at all, stays in the red) it will freeze or hang at roughly 90% (green area of the bar)and stay like that for hours. Eventually I will receive a message "The client was unable to load a data file. Delete your browser cache and try again." I have cleared my browser cache (Chrome)shut down the browser and refreshed to no avail. I have even tried using IE8 and FireFox (I have not used either browser for TSO previously) and the same problem occurs.

    What's going on???

    Same here. Was down yesterday, most of today. Seems just now I can get in though. Not on our side as same as you I refreshed, tried different browsers etc.

    Edit: I take that back. Thought I was in as the login screen loaded in under a minute, but game won't load still.

    I aswell am having loading issues same as above... sent ticket, did different things, let me on briefly but wouldn't load island proper haven't been able to get back on. This is day 2.

    I have had the same problem and the game crashes all of the time.

    Hello everyone,

    If you're still having problems with the game, there are a few things to try to correct this situation.


    1: Before logging into the game try clearing your cookie and cache files from the web browser you are using.

    2: Try using another one of the supported web browsers for the game: Fire Fox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome.

    3: Make sure you are using the currently available version of your web browser, as an older version may no longer be supported for the game.

    4: Make sure you are using the most recent version of Adobe Flash. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

    5: Also try clearing your Flash cache files. You can find the steps on how to do this here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4278569

    Please be aware that having multiple Flash applications at once will cause lag, server crashes, and flash crashes. Please try to limit the number of Flash based web applications you have running while trying to play the game to have the best experience. Such applications include YouTube, Pandora, and other Flash based games.
