Your best efficiency is horizontal from the storehouse. Then slightly offset so it is a straight shot vertically,(SEE BELOW), to your storehouse it can make a huge difference in production amounts especially in the shorter production time buildings like bakeries!

Never bite more than you can chew. There's no point in having 3 lvl1 production buildings when you're gathering raw material off of one building. Plan out how to stabilize your economy. "Production" has to be equal to or greater than "consumption".

Protip: You can buy resources even when your storage is full. It will just go to your star menu stocked up for use any time you wish. Take advantage of this and spend time buying resources for lower prices and avoid scrambling for resources when your low!

All your fast generals currently on the adventure your doing when you get a loot spot invite. Then remember you do not have to send one back to your home island and then on to the loot spot. Just load him up with the loot spot troops and you can send him to the loot spot adventure directly from the adventure your currently doing. After the first few camps you will probably have recruits spare on the adventure island.

Store as many resources as possible and choose a few to optimize your production on. This way you can make sells and trades in the TO.

PROTIP - Don't let your resources max. Even pinewood logs, fish and water are valuable commodities on the TO. Use the "Bank of Star" to free up warehouse space if you aren't prepared to trade stock in TO at the moment.

How? When you are close to maxed, have a friend send you a trade for MORE of the resource - the amount that doesn't fit in your storehouse will immediately bank in the resource section of your star menu. Then, pay your friend back with the resource - this will come out of your warehouse stock. Voila! No more maxed out resource!

Bonus tip for OCD players - If you'd rather have an even amount of resource banked in your star menu, have your friend send 2 trades - one that will take you slightly over max and a second even amount trade. After paying him/her back, liquidate the uneven amount back into your MH & voila! No need to be bothered by seeing amounts like 23,334 every time you are in the star.

One of the best things to purchase from the Gem shop is the Battle Hardened General, especially if you do not buy Gems. The Battle Hardened General fights twice as fast, thus allowing you to pull off a lot of blocks. On most advanced adventures, having a Battle Hardened General cuts your losses by more than 500 Recruits in some cases.

Dont form a new guild unless you have a core dozen or so active players who will join right away. Recruiting officers from global-1 tends to fail.
