Leveling up buildings, such as the Provision House, Mayors, and Barracks as quickly as possible, makes things much faster. Try to level each building to at least a level 3 as you build them. This, along with strategic buffs will help production greatly.
If you have Easter Adventures left over..these work for completing new adventures. Though there is no loot, it does count.

If you are short of building licenses, remove the tavern. You will only need a tavern, when buy a new specialist.
Take advantage of large bid/ask spread in the market.
Instead of accepting ask offers (selling products) off market, place a bid offer (=sell coins for product) at 20%-40% of the ask (=sell) price. Some players who need coins may accept your offer and sell resource at huge discount.
This will only work if you don't need the resource right away. So plan ahead and find out what resource you will need later in advance.
You do not have to follow the quest and build all the buildings. Study the market and decide whether it's cheaper to buy than to produce.
NB: Often, it's cheaper to buy but remember that relying on the market adds risk because of demand/supply.

When refilling resources on your island, if you send your men out after stone, then copper, then marble, then iron, then gold. Your resources will fill up faster. Also, make sure to build masons, stone masons and storehouses by each resource field. The more storehouses by resources nodes the faster you make them and the more you make per day.
Using basic advantures to level up may give you more rewards than higher level advantures.
The awards of higher level advantures do not match the huge troop losses associated with it.
