PAST EVENT - Pro Tip Event

It is official, The Settlers Online: Castle Empire has been alive and kicking for almost two years! With that in mind we wanted to host a pro tip event. Show off your Settlers knowledge by contributing your pro tips in the thread below. These pro tips can be simple one liners or extravagant strategies for either the beginning noobility or for the pro kings and queens of the empire.

Prize: 25 Players at random will get 250 Gems each!

When: 5/15/2013 – 6/12/2013

Rules: You can post as many tips as you want. Do not copy a tip from someone before you. Keep each tip as its own post so you have more chances to win!

IT really is to your advantage to have all troops and supplies ready before you begin your adventure. You will be done quicker and have more fun if you are not delayed waiting for more troops to cook.

Keep your gold as much as you can, you don't want to waste it buying resources on the TO. You're going to need it later on in the game for building upgrades and geologists, explorers, and generals.

Join a good guild as soon as possible. They are a huge benefit, with people to help buff your island, take you on adventures, help you with resources, and you get guild coins as well.

before sending your final attack , it will save you from having to wait 1 1/2 hrs for your troops to return if you assign all troops to you other generals.

Do not waste gems on items you can purchase in TO or that can be traded (or that you can make yourself), use gems for building license mostly

Two tips:

First, join an active guild as quickly as possible. A good guild will help you grow quickly and make the game even more enjoyable.

Second, a good way to free up building licences is to replace your build houses with ones from your star menu (bought with gems or traded in the TO) These star noble houses don't take up a building licence but still increase your maximum population limit.

their are some buildings that are best run buffed only like gold chain and most expert buildings

it doesn't matter if one of your productions are a little red ex: bronze, u can keep your supply up with a strategic buff once in a while

once you begin making a resource, make sure you can support it. If you can't make enough horses, then don't waste efforts on a stable (though I have one stable running at all times - rarely use it but it does build a resource I can trade).
