BB_Susurrously, our Customer Service Lead, recently spoke to this in the thread linked by The_Director. The BBs are paid employees of Ubisoft and while the GMs try their best to monitor Global-1 in both Ares and Zeus, there is not always someone available to immediately handle a chat violation. There are several options in place, such as going to a different channel, using the /ignore feature, and reporting the issue so it can be investigated.

    1. Report violations with avatar names and times of infractions through a support ticket.
    2. Use the /ignore feature in the game chat
    3. Join a different global channel
    4. Ask community members, nicely, to take their chat somewhere private and don't engage.

I find it sad, sad, sad that my question is geared towards making sure the younger players aren't getting attacked or have a way/place to process/deal with the attacks they are receiving and the answers back are to just ignore it. As if the younger players deserve to be attacked for playing this game.

Note most of the people complaining are Ares. I am curious about this.
More of the same "new" content with a different bow? I will give more of the "same" towards my gem accumulation.

Eventually children need to learn to walk away. If they can't do that then they will get themselves upset. I don't understand why you feel it is necessary to protect them from themselves. If they want to play with the big dogs they might get barked at. I personally stay away from global-1 because most people in there make my blood boil. Joining an active, friendly guild is a good way for them to still talk to people without the flaming comments.
