Glitch in Quest rewards

Trying to complete Quest Out of long bows you have to use 2500 deer musk fragrance on designated areas. I ysed these three times on locations with frangrANCE THERE AND ALSO WHERE THERE WAS NONE. hAVE YET TO HAVE GAME RECOGNIZE MY DOING SO and can't receive reward of 15 gold guilt coins.
