Info for new buildings, the resources they use and some of the upgrade costs:


This information was put together using what is available on the test server, it may or may not be accurate when the new buildings are introduced on the other servers. Please keep that in mind when looking over this. The bookbinder does not need to be placed next to a storehouse, and is movable. The rest of the buildings would have better production times when placed by a storehouse, and are movable.




All of the following items are used by the bookbinder to create manuscripts, tomes and the codex


Intermediate Buildings: As listed in the building menu

Simple Papermill: produces simple paper, costs 60 pwp, 90 stone and 30 tools to build and will use 4 pwl and 2 water per simple paper. First upgrade costs 120 hwp and 100 marble. Second upgrade costs 300 hwp and 150 marble, third upgrade (to lvl 4) costs 500gc and 300 marble... I stopped here

Finesmith: produces nibs and costs 160 pwp, 120 stone and 60 tools to build, and uses 4 copper ore per nib. First upgrade costs 120 hwp and 100 marble, second upgrade costs 300 hwp and 150 marble, third upgrade costs 500gc and 300 marble

Advanced Buildings:

Intermediate Papermill: produces intermediate paper, costs 2k hwp, 2k marble and 2500 tools to build, uses 4 hwl and 3 water, first upgrade costs 800 coins and 1500 marble, second upgrade costs 800 exotic planks, and 1k granite

Lettersmith: produces letters (stamps), costs 1k hwp, 1k marble and 800 tools to build, uses 6 iron ore and 4 coal per letter, first upgrade costs 300gc and 600 marble

Expert Buildings:

Advanced Papermill: produces advanced paper, costs 3500 ewp, 3500 granite, 5k tools, it uses 4 ewl and 4 water per paper produced, first upgrade 600gc and 2k granite

Ornamentalsmith: produces book fittings, costs 9k hwp, 3k marble and 3500 tools to build, uses 8 titan ore and 8 coal per book fitting, first up grade costs 600gc and 2k granite

Please keep in mind with all the upgrades, that it uses more resources as you upgrade. I also did not go thru all of the upgrades, nor did I pay attention to the resource cost at each level.




Bookbinder Information:


Bookbinder creates Manuscripts, Tomes, and Codexs, it costs 20 pwp and 80 stone to build

1st upgrade costs (to lvl 2): 500 hwp and 650 marble
2nd upgrade costs (to lvl 3): 1k hwp and 3k marble
3rd upgrade costs (to lvl 4): 5k gold coins, 2k marble
Final upgrade costs (to lvl 5): 9k ewp and 5k granite
  • Manuscripts use: 100 simple paper, 50 nibs, and 10 coins
  • Tomes use: 100 intermediate paper, 50 letters, and 1 manuscript
  • Codex use: 100 advanced paper, 50 book fittings, and 1 tome
