Placing storehouses in new sectors for optimum results

I've conqured a few new sectors and realized its kind of a crapshoot when you place your storehouse. My Hardwood and pinewood chains are efficient, so I'd like to know where the mines will pop up in the new sector to make those more stable.

I conqured the far south-east sector and just recently conqured the sector just north of that. That sector is the one in question that I'm curious to where the mines will be found. (Iron specifically)
