I do not produce gold.
Probably a lot of people do not.
Is there a way that I can still do these quests, or am I just out of luck.
I am not building a gold chain or any gold buildings. That has never been something I wanted to do.
Sure hope BB comes up with a way to make the quests fair to the players who do not produce gold.
I agree 100%. While doable, 24 levels of unbuffed gold smelter is not something I am willing to do. Nor do I want to buff 12 level 2's, ect. I've just been told that even though the devs have been asked, there is still no answer as to if this is WAI or not. I'd say not, but that's just me. Either way, a significant number of players will be unable or unwilling to do this. Not something you want to see in a "Main" quest that unlocks another whole "Main" questline.
