    Dopey
He was part of a team many years ago, but The others always teased him. So he struck out on his own and was fortunate to be hired as the first geologist on the Isle of Pegomine. Although he is the oldest (and slowest), He is respected for his work ethic and always finds all available stone for his employer.

    Indiana 'Indy' Stones

Indiana Stones was born to adventure, or so he thought. Named after his parents favorite temple searching adventurer hopes were high for the young Indy. Unfortunately things didn't quite work out the way his parents hoped and instead of searching for adventures Indy now searches for rocks and metal. Indy is excited to hear of a new book store in town and hopes to further his searching prowess via reading new and exciting books.

    Mickey Marble
Mickey is from New York, but he moved to the island shortly after school. Now Mickey isn’t the brightest of the group and spends all his time searching for the perfect marbles. Nobody has the heart to tell him marbles aren’t made from marble and let’s face it, the island does have a lot of marble mines that need searching so maybe he’ll get lucky one of these days.

    Crazy Karl the Crook
Karl’s originally from Chicago where he got into some trouble breaking into houses to strip all the copper pipes out of them. He became pretty good at it but was caught in the great snow storm of 1999. He was sent to the island as a rehab of sorts. Now Karl gets to play in the mines all day and he gets all the copper he wants.

    Name Your Geologist

I am naming my Geologist "Georgius Agricola" who was known as the Father of Minerology. He was a German scholar and scientist who lived from 1494 to 1555, best known for his complete and systematic treatise on mining and extractive metallurgy which described and illustrated how ore veins occur in and on the ground, making the work an early contribution to the developing science of geology. I feel that this person who was an actual historical character seems to fit both into the era in which "Settlers" is taking place and also the National heritage of the geographical setting.

I have changed my vote for i actually have a total of 6 geologists, 3 regular and 3 fine new one's. My regular geologists are called "Fred Flintstone", "Barney Rubble", and "Blank Slate", my new one's are "Rock Quarrey", "Joe Rockhead", and "Perry Masonry". If you haven't realized the reference yet, it's from "The Flinstone's".

    Nickelaus Coppernicus

A geologist who reformulated a geocentric model of the universe, placing the Earth back at the center. The publication of his book, The Stone Codex, is considered a major event in the anti-history of science and contributed importantly to the Scientific Inquisition.

    Jolly Cabaccan
He is an actual true life geologist in Thailand.........that is his name...jolly cabaccan.......what better a jolly geologists than an actual man making a difference in this world of rock....
The meaning of Cabaccan come may come from a craft, such as the name "Gardener" which was given to people of that profession. A lot of these craft-based surnames can be a profession in another language. For this reason it is important to know the nationality of a name, and the languages used by its early ancestors. Many western names like Cabaccan originate from religious texts like the Quran, the Bhagavadgītā, the Bible, and so forth. Often these names are shortened versions of a religious sentiment such as "Worthy of praise".
