Change in amount of mats for manuscripts??

Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed the amount of simple paper, nibs and gold coins required to make a manuscript has gone up? It started with needing 250 simple paper, 200 nibs and 10 gc, now it's 275 simple paper, 220 nibs and 11 gc.

I did read somewhere in the forums here that the cost of the manuscripts would increase every 10 books - at least gold wise I don't think I'd read anything about the other materials cost going up as well.

Found the link it's actually on the testing server. Building costs of manuscripts increases.

the science production is a joke. Times take way too long. The player is limited by the Bookbinder.
Either allow more Bookbinders or change the times....... fustrating

Run the numbers. If you only want to do 6 geos, you'll be paying over 1000 nibs and paper per script.
I don't know how many of each book will be needed for Explorers, Generals and the Island Science upgrades, but expect this to get into many 1000's per book pretty quickly.

I know I don't dare do all my geos or I may not ever be able to afford to make books for the features yet to come.

Ouch!! I'm now wishing it was just my memory playing tricks on me. Hopefully there is a ceiling for the amount of mats needed.

cost goes up for ALL mats across the board. for every book.

the best strategy is to be very conservative in the higher nodes. like spend 20-30 books in the first two tiers and reserve the last tier to be 1-4 points using only 1-4 books. or avoid using the last tier.

there is no way to get around paying a crap load for the first book.

1 to 10:
250 + 200 + 10 = 1

11 to 20:
275 + 220 + 11 = 1

21 to 30 : (not sure of this line)
302 + 242 + 12 = 1

31 to 40 :
335 + 265 + 13 = 1


Tomes step is 20 :

1 to 20:
250 + 200 + 1 = 1

21 to 40 :
350 + 240 + 2 = 1

41 to 60 :
420 + 290 + 3 = 1


Codex step is 30 :

1 to 30 :
250 + 200 + 1 = 1

31 to 60 :
375 + 300 + 2 = 1

61 to 90 :
560 + 400 + 3 = 1
