They just change the look of your buildings, they do not provide anything else.
They are called skill buffs in the list of awards.

Help me out...what is the 100%, 150%, etc based on? Before it was doing the EOW adventure but no where that I saw does it say what those percentages are for.
If a server finds all of the balloons (100%) you get the 100% reward,
If a server finds all of the balloons and another 1/2 gets the 150% rewards.
A server finds all of the balloons, and finds them all all over again, thats the 200% reward.
What pirate residence, there isn't any on the server? >.>
Pirate hut's... psh, they only decorantion same with trophies.
And besides, that is the Trophies and Pirate hut. This is something completly different, or did you forget that?
