    Simple Changes that would make the game better

    I'd like to start a thread of some suggestions for BB on simple changes we would like to see that would improve game play without affecting game balance.

    Here's a few that crossed my mind:

    1) Generals automatically unload when they reach an adventure island.

    This game is a constructed to burn your time and efforts in order to keep it going. But somethings are just pointless. When my generals arrive at an adventure island, making me click on them to "unload" them is just aggravating. Making them unload automatically won't affect the game in any negative way and would shave off a tiny bit of aggravation for all players.

    2) A way to "Find" buildings.

    There are only so many "Open" areas on the map where buildings are clearly visible and it's aggravating (there is a theme here, see if you can figure it out) to scan over the map trying to find some building that you only use once a year for a quest (I'm looking at you Powderhut, or I would be if I could find you). How about this: In the build menu put a looking glass in the upper left. If you click it, then click a building type it zooms your screen to where that building is and centers it.

    3) Cycle between like buildings.

    I want to make sure all my "Favorite Buff Targets" are . . . . buffed. I click on one and then, in the building's detail box that pops up, there are right and left arrows to take me to the "next" and "previous" building of that same type.

    4) A way to find buildings on Friend's Islands

    Heck I don't even know where MY buildings are, now some guild mate wants me to buff her Recyclers. I don't want to spend 20 minutes scrolling all over her island to find them. Enable the build menu when visiting other islands except now it's the "Find" menu. You click a building, the map zooms to it and, because you have so generously given us option #3 above, I can then cycle through all her Recyclers and buff them.

    4a) Buff Button.

    Even better put a "Irma's Gift Basket" button on the building pop up so I can just click it to buff. You don't have to add buttons for all the buffs, I'm guessing 99% of the buffing that goes on in this game is Irma's. You would REALLY REALLY save us all a LOT of aggravation adding this kind of functionality and it would not adversely impact game play or balance in any way.

    5) Move buildings just a smidge.

    Right now if I want to move a building over just a smidge, like half a building width, I have to move it to some other part of the map, pay for that move, then move it back again to where I want it, paying to move it again. This is just . . . . aggravating.

    6) News feed updated while on adventures.

    It's aggravating to come back from spending time on an adventure and then having to scroll all over your island to find out what mines/wheat fields/wells need attention because you haven't gotten any notifications about any of them running out while you were on the adventure.

    7) Time stamps on news feed.

    How about a simple [+] button on all resources in the star menu that transfers directly to the mayor instead of manually clicking and waving ur mouse around the screen finding the mayors house and clicking a 2nd time. very tedious back and forth.

    #2 As wimpy said, the EO can be used to find your own buildings (I've never had the problem, but have known a few ppl that do.)
    Seems to me they could make EO become the find feature while visiting other islands as all the building types are already in it. Meanwhile, your friend should be asking you to buff her "3 recyclers in s6" (or wherever they are) so that you don't have to search the whole island.

    #5 This was a common complaint from the moment this feature appeared on the test server. They never cared to fix it.
